Last but not least, be aware that Indonesia is susceptible to earthquakes and volcanic activity, it is not something you should worry about as they are rare, but still, be aware of it to avoid panic.

However this depends on the area you intend to stay, season and your travel preferences. There are several visa options to explore Indonesia, but the most common choice that is valid for passport holders from most countries, is valid for 30 days, with the possibility of extending it for 30 more (60 in total).
